Who we are

AI Sports Ratings (aisportsratings.com) is run by FriendlyBet Ltd, trading as AI Sports Ratings, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17201624), registered office 124-128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. FriendlyBet Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described here.

How to contact us

For any privacy question or request, email [email protected] or [email protected]. We do not use a named individual as a contact point.

What we collect, and why

We only collect what you send us. You can read every page of the site without giving us any personal data.

  • Newsletter. If you sign up, we collect your email address and ask you to confirm you are 18 or over. We store your address as unconfirmed and email you a confirmation link; you only join the list, and only get newsletters, once you click it (double opt-in). We store your email address and whether you have confirmed; we do not store a separate record of the 18+ tick. Lawful basis: consent. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter email, or by emailing us.
  • Submit a tool or tipster form. The details you type in: the tool or tipster name, website, results page, sports, your name, your email, your role or company and any notes. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (reviewing the submission and replying to you).
  • Advertise & sponsor form. Your name, company, email, the package you are interested in and your message. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, and steps you ask us to take before any contract.
  • Claims and corrections. The Is this you? box and the corrections link open an email in your own email program, addressed to [email protected]. There is no form: we receive only what you choose to send in that email. The same applies if you email [email protected] or [email protected]. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (handling your request, keeping our ratings accurate and keeping a log of corrections).
  • Spam protection. The newsletter, submit and advertise forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks browser and device signals to tell people from bots. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (protecting the forms from abuse).
  • Hosting and security. Like any website, our host processes your IP address and basic request data (such as browser type and the page requested) to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We do not use this to build a profile of you. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

Form submissions and enquiries are sent to us as emails. They are not stored in a database on the site.

Cookies and analytics

We do not set any cookies, and we do not use advertising or tracking tools. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. Cloudflare adds a small script to our pages for this. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not follow you across other sites. It records the page viewed, the referring page, your browser and device type, how quickly the page loaded, and your country, which Cloudflare works out from your IP address. Cloudflare processes this for us. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (understanding which pages are used and how well they load).

On pages with filters, your browser's session storage remembers whether you left the filter panel open or closed. It stays on your device, is never sent to us and is cleared when you close the tab.

Some links to tools and tipsters are affiliate links. When you click one and arrive on that company's site, it may set its own cookies to record that you came from us. Those cookies are covered by that company's own privacy and cookie policy, not this one. See our affiliate disclosure.

Who processes your data for us

We use these service providers. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes:

  • Cloudflare: hosts the site (Cloudflare Pages), runs the form handlers, provides the Turnstile spam check, provides Web Analytics and forwards email sent to our @aisportsratings.com addresses.
  • Resend: stores newsletter subscribers and sends the confirmation and newsletter emails.
  • Google (Google Workspace): hosts the mailbox where our emails and form submissions arrive.

These providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on the safeguards the UK allows for international transfers, such as the UK-US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with bookmakers, tipsters, tools or advertisers. If you submit a tool or a correction, we may tell the company concerned what was changed, but not who asked.

How long we keep it

  • Newsletter: while you're subscribed. When you unsubscribe, or if you don't confirm, we stop emailing you; your address stays with our email provider until you ask us to delete it, and we'll delete it on request.
  • Submissions, enquiries and correction emails: up to 24 months after our last exchange with you, unless we need them longer for a dispute about a rating. Published corrections stay in our public changelog, which does not name the person who asked.
  • Hosting and security data: kept by Cloudflare for the short periods set by its own service.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it or ask us to restrict it, and withdraw consent at any time (for example by unsubscribing). Email [email protected] or [email protected]. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Age

The site is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you think we have, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
